My basketball career started as a young kid at the Nottingham, NH Rec program. I was a very active kid and played soccer, basketball, and baseball, on as many teams as I could. Having found a new passion, sports had a major impact on my life as a kid and into my early adult life. Meeting friends, working with others, managing my time between school, homework, games and practices, discipline, respect, self focus and wanting to be the best player I could be. These are some of the main values that I learned and why I coach because I know how positively it helped me growing up and my way of giving back to the sports community that had such an important impact in my life.

In my elementary school basketball years my speed was my greatest asset and at this level was quite effective and lead to early succuss. Moving on to high school, the competition increased and after a significant ankle injury, suddenly my speed wasn't as effective. I could no longer go a million miles per hour all the time and had to adjust to a new way to play the game. I wish I had a program like Play Practice that could have increased my knowledge of the game, developed skills, quicken my decision making, increase my confidence as a player, and be move effective in changing my speeds on the court.

After meeting BJ while helping referee at the Nottingham Rec program, I starting coaching at Play Practice Basketball and continued gaining knowledge of the game. I look forward to continuing to improve as a coach and enjoy passing that knowledge on to whoever is looking to become a better basketball player.
