"I think one of the key things that I always liked about what you do, the drills that you guys create, isn't geared towards a nine year old or a 10 year old. It's the same footwork. It's the same drills that you're running with high school, college, maybe even some of your NBA players that you guys have trained in the past. And I think that's really one of the areas that has helped Cole excel, is a lot of that development and footwork and just understanding spacing - a lot of things that he's learned from you guys at a young age that most kids just don't learn."

"Exceptional basketball training based in NH. My child has grown both as a player and as a person while working with Coach BJ Mumford. He is very detailed and the training is technical. Highly recommend."

"My children have been attending training sessions with BJ for the past month or so. He is extremely patient with the children and customizes the training based on varying skill levels. The children look forward to each session and we’re very thankful to BJ and this tremendous program."

Compound interest has been called the "8th wonder of the world." The key to the impact of this is uninterrupted compound interest - if you withdraw your funds, it stops.
Imagine you invested $100,000 toward your retirement only to see it eroded down to $80,000 a few years later.
A 20% reduction now would require a 25% gain just to get back to even!
Your player's confidence in their skill level is no different.
Whether you have invested $400 or $8,000 in your player's training in the past year, the worst outcome is losing all of those gains, and having to work even harder just to get back to where they were!
We help your player maintain compound interest on their skill set
Other programs focus on the team aspects of your player for only 2-3 months of the season, and may even ask your player to halt their development for the sake of the team (don't dribble!)
We help your player maintain compound interest on their skill set year-round by holding them accountable, and ensuring their development continues to accelerate and their confidence is always increasing!
Three monthly objectives we use to maintain progress:
Who is This For?
This is where our best players live - those that have worked with us more intensely through the Confidence Formula, 8X8, or by completing all 7 of our 4-Week Focus courses.
If your player started with us in 6th or 7th grade, by the time they reach high school, this is usually the maintenance plan where they will stay through their senior year.
Blue Sock or higher skill level required.
We can't find time year-round for this!
With availability 6 days per week, even during your busiest sport season we can usually find 2 hours per month.
Also, the credits for workouts never expire - so some players will "bank" workouts during a busy season, and do a workout every week when their schedule opens up.
$259/ month seems like a lot...
Most of our clients invest $5,000-$8,000 per year with us during their most intense training years of 7th/8th/9th grade averaging 2 days per week, and at least weekly curriculum work off the court commitment.
Most of our individual training with curriculum costs $200/ hour or more.
This plan allows you to maintain progress with individual attention and accountability, get up to 3 hours of court time each month, and personal video feedback ($660 value in total!) and because we have built rapport and familiarity with your player already, our efficiency in getting work done on exactly what they need is greatly increased!
Do I have to commit to a full year?
No, while recommended for maximum impact, it is not required.
We suggest a 3-month minimum commitment to make it worthwhile, and then re-evaluate how it is working for your player after that point.
You can, however save $300 by signing up for a year commitment in advance - only $2,799.
"As a father, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching your child grow and excel, especially when it comes to their passions. My son, Kelton, has had a love for basketball for several years, but like many young players, he struggled with certain aspects of his game that held him back from reaching his full potential. He started rapidly improving through the 12 week Confidence Formula Course, and it was just beginning to translate into game play as we finished the course. Enrolling him in the Confidence Warranty has further accelerated that growth.
The program prioritizes each player's individual needs based on play, and that truly sets it apart. The monthly maintenance workouts have been a game-changer for Kelton. Not only does he get to fine-tune his skills during the season, but the structured approach allows him to troubleshoot areas of improvement seamlessly. He’s been able to focus on his shot mechanics, and the progress has been incredible! His shooting form has transformed, leading to increased confidence behind the arc and a higher shooting percentage during games. Another area of focus has been Kelton's finishing around the rim, which has gone from tentative to explosive and consistent. He has many angles and methods of attack with the necessary footwork and skill that leaves defenders guessing. His confidence is at an all-time high, and the positive results are evident in his performance and mindset.
The monthly group sessions have also fostered an amazing team environment. Kelton now has a community of fellow Warranty Players who share the same passion and commitment to improvement. They push each other to be better, and he gets good matchups that allow him to try things he doesn’t feel as comfortable trying in games or team practices.
One of the standout features of the program is the weekly game film analysis. This has been invaluable for Kelton’s decision-making on the court. Breaking down plays has helped him recognize opportunities and make smarter choices in high-pressure situations. He’s no longer just reacting; he’s reading the game and making plays with confidence. In a time when kids are accustomed to consuming content through platforms like YouTube, this method of visual learning resonates deeply with them, making it an effective way to understand and improve their game.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Confidence Warranty program to any parent looking to elevate their child’s game. It’s more than just training; it’s a holistic approach to basketball development that builds confidence, skill, and community. We are beyond grateful for the impact it has made on Kelton, and I can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next!"
— Tim Granfield, Kelton’s Dad
"From day one of Connor being enrolled in the Confidence Warranty program you could see improvements immediately. From his performance on the court, to an increase in his opportunities, to a motivation to work harder to overcome any self-doubt, it all became easier for him. BJ’s video breakdown of game film, along with the one-on-one workouts, built a level of confidence within Connor that expanded his positive mindset that he has the skills and ability to compete. When you feel confident in your own abilities it leads to a better performance."
- Clint Lapierre
“My son, Parker Redman, completed the Confidence Formula program with Play Practice last year and has experienced tremendous growth—both on and off the court. He continues to work one-on-one with Coach BJ through the Confidence Warranty program, which has given him even more time to learn, develop, and refine his game.
One of the most valuable aspects has been the individual attention Parker receives. Having dedicated time with BJ allows him to openly discuss what he’s struggling with and what he wants to improve. That personalized coaching has made a huge difference.
Through the program, Parker has developed a stronger sense of confidence in his game. We’ve been able to share videos for review, and the personalized feedback has been incredibly helpful—providing clear guidance and highlighting specific areas for improvement. He’s learning advanced skills and concepts that most programs and coaches don’t cover.
Parker’s decision-making has improved dramatically. His timing, court awareness, and ability to make fast, smart choices have all reached a new level, helping him play with greater control and purpose.
BJ provides truly customized support to each athlete, helping them grow and perform in any situation. I highly recommend Play Practice to any player serious about improving. It’s the best place to receive focused, effective coaching that leads to real, lasting progress.”
- Ben Redman
